Tween Time: Watercolor Mugs

Youth, ages 8-15, won't want to miss the next crafting session at the library where we'll have a fun evening showing you how to make some mugs with a little style.  Learn how to make watercolor mugs, without using watercolors, in a craft with the potential to get messy (but don't we love getting a little messy)?  We'll supply all the materials you'll need for this hands-on workshop.

Don't miss the final after school crafting session for kids at your library as it's our Choose Your Craft session.  We'll offer an assortment of crafts for kids to do and they'll choose the ones they want to make.  We'll supply all the materials you'll need, you just come ready to have a little fun at your library. 

Put Your Business on Google

Advertising your business is important for gaining customers and clients.  Join us for this free workshops where Small Business Development Center counselor Gayla Fullerton will explain the procedure on how and why businesses with complete listings on Google are twice as likely to be considered reputable and have a much higher growth potential. 

Free Tax Assistance

IRS-trained volunteers with the AARP will be on hand to help you e-File your taxes for free at the library.  Bring your Photo ID, social security card, W-2's, and all other tax information you'll need, then let our volunteers help you e-File.  Everyone will be helped on a first-come, first-served basis (no appointments or reservations) and sessions will be hosted on a weekly basis through April 15. 

Super Storytime: Groundhogs Galore

It's time for another Super Storytime event designed for the morning crowd!  This month is all about the mysterious groundhog and how it's celebrated in February.  Join us as we share stories about groundhogs, play games, and make a fun craft too.  It's a great way to spend a morning at your library. 

Collecting Commas Writing Club

If you're between the ages of 10-17, and you love to write, you'll want to be a part of our writing club.  This group meets every Thursday afternoon and it's the perfect place to come out and hone your creative writing skills with your peers.  We work on a variety of writing activities in a stress free environment and led by librarian Kelsie Wade. 

Incorporating Hydroponics and Drought Tolerant Practices

Whether you're in the process of developing your green thumb or not, picking yup knowledge from experts in the community is always a great thing.  Join us as we invite in Texas Master Gardener Karen Saunders who will talk about maximizing vegetable production in small spaces in addition to practices for drought tolerant areas.
