Introduction to QuickBooks | Library News Release

An introductory workshop on the recordkeeping and accounting software QuickBooks Online and Desktop will be conducted at the Abilene Public Library on Monday, April 25 at 6:30 p.m.  Gayla Fullerton, CPA, owner of Gayla Fullerton CPA in Abilene, will conduct the free session in the library's second floor auditorium at 202 Cedar St.

Attendees will learn the features and benefits of the software which Fullerton calls "the most user friendly and cost efficient software available to the small business owner."  Among the topics she will cover how to set up QB, work with bank accounts, enter sales information, enter and pay bills, analyze financial data, track and pay sales taxes, on both QuickBooks Online and 2016 Premier.

The presenter holds a Certified Public Accountant certification and is a Chartered Global Management Accountant recognized by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  She has been a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor since 2007, a professional business consultant and has several years of management and bookkeeping experience with small business.

Ms. Fullerton also holds a degree in accounting from McMurry University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.  She is a member of the Rotary Club of Abilene, National Association of Professional Women and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, as well as a member of Leadership Abilene 2014 and Leadership Texas 2015.
