Summer Reading Club Pages Available Online

The Summer Reading Clubs will kickoff on June 6 across all library locations where we'll offer enhanced programming, great reading programs, amazing prizes, and so much more.  It's the time your local library truly shines and we invite everyone to come out and discover why.

If you haven't visited us already, our Summer Reading Club Pages are available online, where you'll find all the information you'll need about programming, how to participate, special activities, and more.  Here's a brief look at each of them...

Theme: Read-A-Saurus
Ages: Birth to Grade 5
Every child will receive a reading club bag complete with all of the club information inside.  The theme for this year will be all about dinosaurs where we'll have tons of special activities with dino-themes from craft sessions to Paleontology School.  Each week a child visits the library to checkout books, or attend programming, they'll be able to pick up a prize for the week.  If you need suggestions on some summer reads, view the Summer Reading List online.

Theme: Books Bite Back
Ages: Grades 6-12
Every teen will receive a free reading club back complete with all club information inside.  We're carrying over the dino-themed fun to teens as well, and we have some special events to come out and join in on from dinosaur movie nights, after hours Dinosaur Nerf Hunts, and even making a host of fun dino crafts.  Each week a teen visits the library to checkout materials, or attend a program, they'll receive a free prize.  Plus, for reading over the summer, they'll have a chance to win a FREE iPad at the end of the summer for our prize giveaway.  You certainly don't want to miss your chance to enter this summer.  If you need suggestions on summer reads, view the Summer Reading List online.

Theme: Exercise Your Mind
Ages 18+
All the reading fun can't be for kids and teens.  The Adult Reading Club will be back and better than ever.  Reading Club information can be picked up at any location, or accessed online, and the theme this year will be all about health & fitness.  Throughout the summer, your library will be hosting a number of fitness activities for adults to participate in from Baby & Me Yoga to Zumba.  All sessions will be offered for free and it's a great way to get moving and having fun at your library.  Plus, by reading over the summer, or attending programs, you'll have the chance to enter our raffle to win prizes throughout the summer.  You'll also get the chance to win a FREE iPad too.  Don't miss out on the reading club fun!

Stop by June 6 to get started in the summer reading club fun at your library.  You'll be glad you did!
