Young Audiences of Abilene and the Abilene Public Library will present the final installment of their 2016 summer shows series Tuesday.

The Paramount Theatre's Betty Hukill and Barry Smoot will read "Poppleton," a book illustrated by Mark Teague, honoree of the 2016 Children's Art & Literacy Festival, as well as Little Golden Books by the 2017 CALF honoree, Garth Williams.

It's similar to the show Hukill and Smoot took to various elementary school during the spring, but that show featured only books by Teague.

"We also talk about the Storybook Capital and show pictures of the sculptures," Hukill said.

Two shows will be performed at the downtown Abilene Public Library, 202 Cedar St.  Times are 10:45AM and 3PM Tuesday in the auditorium on the second floor.  The free shows last about 45 minutes.
