Summer Fitness @ Your Library

This summer we're kicking it into gear with great classes provided by YMCA Abilene and hosted at your Mockingbird Branch Library (1326 N. Mockingbird Ln., PH: 325-437-7323).  Each class starts off slow for beginners and picks up in pace depending on whose in the class and just how much you want to burn.

We hosted a free Zumba class in June, which was well received by the community with people coming out during the Summer Reading Club to not only exercise their minds with checking out books, but their bodies too.  After all, it's what this year's Adult Reading Club theme is all about at your library.

Our next fitness even, which is open to everyone and completely free of charge, will be on Saturday, July 9 at 10:00AM.  The YMCA Abilene instructor will be leading a Pound class, which is an interactive routine focusing on arm movement and total body fitness.  You don't want to miss it!

Additional fitness classes will be hosted through August, across the Mockingbird Branch Library and the Main Library locations.  Don't pass up on your chance to take advantage of as many as you'd like.
