Tween Time: Disk Organizers

Youth are invited to a hands-on craft workshop where we'll show you how to recycle those unwanted 3.5" floppy disks into something fun.  We'll supply all the materials and instruction needed so you can create great organizers for your desks for storing different accessories.  Plus, tweens may not have come across a floppy disk in the present day, so it will be fun to show them how we used to save files in the past.  For more information about this workshop, contact Kelsie Wade at 325-676-6067.

Anime Club

If you have a passion for anime and manga, don't pass up on your chance to be a part of the library's Anime Club.  There's no need to register, just come out for an evening of discussing anime, watching popular shows, and engaging in a host of similar activities with your peers.  This club meets on the 1st Tuesday evenings of each month, and we have a great group that attends regularly.  If you've been looking for a local Anime Club to join, be a part of our!  For more information, contact Amanda Sasser at 325-676-6067.

Family Fun: Favorite Authors - Audrey Wood

Kids & Parents are invited out to our monthly Family Fun event at your library.  We're celebrating our favorite authors, and for August, we'll be sharing the great works of children's author Audrey Wood.  Join us as we share favorites including, "Ten Little Fish," "Alphabet Rescue," and "Silly Sally," and stick around for songs, crafts, and more fun activities in this enhanced storytime event.  When the program is over, we'll also have a selection of books by the featured author available for checkout to continue the fun at home.  For more information about this program, contact Alyssa Crow at 325-698-7565.

Make & Take: Olympic Crafts

Collecting Commas Writing Club

Youth are invited to be a part of our weekly writing club at your library, where you can hone your creative writing skills in all forms from novels to poetry.  Each week we meet to work on various writing activities in a stress-free environment with your peers, and we even work on larger joint projects such as putting together poetry slams, writing plays, doing skits, and more.  We have a great group of youth attending each month, and we want you to be a part of the writing fun at your library.  There's no need to register, and for additional club information, contact Kelsie Wade at 325-676-6067.

The Coloring Club

Super Storytime: Bugs Galore

Fitness Class: Zumba Toning
