Today's Top Book & DVD Releases

Everyone loves staying on top of the latest in books & DVDs and we receive them on a regular basis at your library.  Join us as we hit the highlights of some of the more popular titles being released today.

Captain America: Civil War
Starring: Chris Evans

Summary: In this superhero epic, the denizens of the Marvel Universe are forced to pick sides when Captain America and Iron Man come to blows over ideological differences.  After a mission involving a new Avengers squad led by Cap ends with several civilian casualties in Lagos, the team is asked to sign an agreement that would force them to take orders from a United Nations panel.  Tony pressures Cap to accept this new arrangement, but Cap fears the Avengers will be corrupted by bureaucracy...a disagreement that will lead into an all-out war, causing a rift in the Avengers.

The Conjuring 2

Summary: Husband and wife paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren help a single mother living in 1977 London, who claims that she and her children are being terrorized by supernatural forces.  Based on a true stroy.

Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping
Starring: Andy Samberg

Summary: This mockumentary satire of the music business and modern celebrity centers on self-absorbed pop rapper Conner4Real.  Once a member of a popular rap trio called the Style Boyz, Conner is now a solo artist about to drop his second album.  Unfortunately, the release gets abysmal reviews, and his career begins to melt down when his attempts at rehabbing his image leads to disaster after disaster.

Pirate (Fargo Adventures #8)
