Resumes have quickly become an essential item, whether you're looking for full-time or part-time work. Your Abilene Public Library can help you create a winning document that highlights your best skills! Sign up for our free, hands-on class titled Resumes 101 on May 8 at 9:30AM at the Mockingbird Branch Library (1326 N. Mockingbird Ln).
What do you need to bring? Bring any documentation that might be helpful, such as a list of present and past employers as well as your current contact information. We will go over the dos and don'ts of what to include on a resume and allow participants to type up their own document in real time.
So if you've been a bit apprehensive when it comes to figuring out how to create your own resume, and the how-to books and programs have you going in circles, allow our trained library staff to walk you through the process. Plus, we'll be along each step of the way to answer your questions too.
To register for a slot at this workshop, or to get additional information, feel free to call 325-437-7323.
