Library TECH Time Expands in June

Tech Monday Instruction at your South Branch Library has been a hit since it was introduced in February.  Offered every Monday for a 2-hour block, guests came in to receive help on their tech-related issues, no appointment necessary.  We're pleased to announce this series is expanding to the Main Library in June.
Tech Monday Instruction will become TECH (Technology Enrichment & Collaborative Help) Time.  Sessions will continue to be hosted at the South Branch Library on Mondays from 2:00PM to 4:00PM, but also added to Thursdays at the Main Library, same time and same tech gurus.

At each session, guests will be helped on a first-come, first-served basis, where we'll offer help in whatever tech-related issue you may be experiencing.  Although we may not have all the answers, we've yet to meet a challenge we couldn't help with.  Past assistance has included:
  • Learning to use a smartphone/tablet.
  • Speeding up the performance on your laptop.
  • Using the library's digital services (i.e. OverDrive, Hoopla, and Flipster).
  • Learning to use social media platforms.
  • Navigating the Internet.
  • General PC instruction and assistance, and more.
Like always, we never charge for the programs we offer.  If you're unable to attend a session on Monday or Thursday afternoons, you may still take advantage of our Book-A-Librarian program where you can schedule a time for 1-on-1 assistance with library staff at any location.

Don't pass up on this popular series at your library, and if you have any questions, contact Tremain Jackson.
